| My names calumn (uni for short, don't ask) I have been brought up in england all my life, and now live in blackpool, lancashire. my aspiration in life is to join Her Majesty's Royal Marines, and become one of the infantry commandoes. I've been doing art & drawing all my life, it's only recently I have become interested in digital art such as photoshop, as access to computers has only really become an option of me in the past few weeks. The capabilites of computers in art is breathtaking, I feel a sense of achievement doin digital work although I feel alothough i have also cheated. think of it this way, if Leonardo Da Vinci had directed someone where to put the brush on a canvas, would he get the credit? And I know I don't really compare to Da Vinci in terms of capability and recognision of work, but it's a similar situation. All im doing is telling the compuet what to do, all you see infront of you right now are pixels, even as i type, the information in my text is the same as a digital copy of Van Goughs work. It just doesn't feel the same, plus, i mean copyright wtf is that? if someone stole a famous artists work lets say 90 years ago, it would've masks, swords, ropes and a group of master thiefs. Nowadays all it takes is a right click and *BLAM* 100 million other people are claiming rights to you spending the last 3 hours telling a computer where to put pixels. anyway, that probably made no sensewhat so ever, as i got ahead of myself and got caught up in the moment.. lol. anyway, enjoy whatever "art" I upload. |
